ANF Strategic Plan 2011-2014

ANF Branch Council has developed our strategic plan for 2011 – 2014, as outlined below.

Our Strategic Aims

  • Represent and promote the professional and industrial interests of our members.
  • Influence and lobby Government and other key stakeholders to develop and implement policy that improves the quality of patient and health outcomes for all Tasmanians.
  • Support, protect and improve the industrial and professional terms and conditions of employment in all sectors for members.
  • Develop the professional and leadership capacity of members in influencing innovative nursing practice.
  • Build and develop a sustainable, member led organisation.
  • Educate to provide information and access to education, research and Continuing Professional Development activities.

Branch Council

Tasmanian Branch Council is the ultimate policy making body of the Tasmanian Branch of the Federation.  Branch Council meets on the first Friday of each month (February – December) and Executive meets on the week prior to Branch Council.  Your current Council members are:
