Continuing Professional Development Portfolio

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the means by which members of the nursing and midwifery profession maintain, improve, and extend their knowledge, expertise and competence, and develop the personal and professional qualities required throughout their professional lives.

To ‘count’ as CPD, the CPD undertaken by the nurse or midwife must be relevant to their ‘context of practice’ and be based on an identified learning need.

The ANF Continuing Professional Development Portfolio is your companion guide in meeting you legal professional development hours.

The ANF Continuing Professional Development Portfolio contains Professional Practice Guidelines from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council and AHPRA, along with Professional Portfolio Templates and a section for you to build your own Professional Portfolio.

Portfolios can be purchased below or from the ANF office, $20.00 for ANF Members, $40.00 for Non-Members. If you are collecting the folder from either the Launceston or Hobart ANF office, simply print out your PayPal receipt that you will receive via email, and take it with you as proof of purchase. If you are in the North West, you will need to call North West Organiser Sue Robertson on 0400 621 288 to organise collection. If you are unable to collect your folder, we can post it out to you at a cost of $10.00 postage per folder. Please allow up to six working days for postage.
