Certificate III in Home and Community Care (CHC30308)
This course prepares you to work in community based programs, supporting the elderly to live in their own home or hostel accommodation; and also includes an introduction to working with people who have a disability.
In this role you would:
- Follow a client care plan and provide client focused care, reporting to a supervisor
- Assist with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living for clients living in their own home or hostel accommodation
- Assist with shopping, meal preparation, transport and other client needs
- Support clients to maintain their independence

Certificate III in Aged Care (CHC30208)
This course prepares you to work primarily in hostel accommodation, or in residential aged care facilities.
In this role you would:
- Follow a client/resident care plan to provide client focused care, reporting to a nursing supervisor
- Assist with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living for clients living in hostel accommodation or in a residential aged care facility
- Support clients to maintain their independence
