ANF members work in some of the most rural/remote areas of Tasmania, including King Island, Flinders Island, Cape Barren Island and Bruny Island, at Queenstown, Zeehan, St Helens, Dover, Bicheno, Strahan, Triabunna, Campbell Town, Oatlands, Smithton, Nubeena and Ouse to name but a few. 

The Rural/Remote Special Interest Group is a network for nurses who have similar interests.  ANF is able to facilitate teleconferences with rural nurses to discuss issues affecting rural nurses.
