Professional Indemnity/Public Liability Insurance
Your ANF membership covers the appropriate professional indemnity insurance arrangements, which are essential for all practicing nurses and midwives. Nurses, midwives and care staff enjoy the protection of insurance coverage including $10m professional indemnity and $10m public liability, for any one claim and $50m in the aggregate. Conditions apply.
Professional Development
Receive professional and clinical education towards your annual CPD requirements. ANF offers professional and clinical skills development, Certificate III for Care staff, industrial relations training, conferences and workshops.
Professional and Industrial Advice and Representation
ANF members receive expert professional and industrial advice, representation and assistance on any work related matter including wages and conditions of employment, classification disputes and safety. ANF assists and represents members in relation to professional as well as industrial issues and coronial inquiries.
Legal Services
ANF members have access to legal services for work-related issues, including workers compensation, and professional representation.
Journey Insurance
ANF Tas Branch’s Journey Injury Insurance Policy provides cover for members injured while travelling to or from their place of work who are not entitled to benefits from the MAIB. Workers’ compensation does not provide cover while travelling to and from work. Conditions apply.
Journals
ANF members receive two regular journals – the Australian Nursing Journal, with national and international news, and Infusion, the Tasmanian Branch journal with the latest Tasmanian news.
Discounts
ANF offer discounted movie tickets at Village Cinemas, Village Goldclass, State Cinema, Metro and Cmax. Tickets can be purchased through ANF offices and Organisers.
